A little procrastination
D | Wednesday, April 25, 2007
I read two neworthy stories today:
1. Scientists find most Earth-like planet yet - Nice work. It turns out it is a mere 20.5 light years away, but it might still be cool to visit. Quote of the article, "...and models predict that the planet should be either rocky, like our Earth, or covered with oceans." What kind of scientists are these? "Uh yes, the new planet is either rocky or watery. We also know for sure, that it has lots of plants or no plants at all."
2. Undersea tunnel would link US and Russia - Now that the Cold War is over, its time to for the United States and Russia to embark on an historic bond of friendship and build (you thought I was going to say bridges?) a big-ass tunnel. At 68 miles long, this tunnel would be ridiculously awesome. I can see the special on The Discovery Channel's Modern Marvels already. I hope they put a Starbucks in the middle.

Fixed

I've been absent for a while. As Summer starts and school ends (kind of), I will try to post on a more regular basis. Some updates:
-Year Two of law school is almost over. So this is where the fun starts. I have exams from April 26th - May 9th. Study, study, study.
-Congrats to Ash, Ter, Sean, Elizabeth, Claire, Bobby G, Deana, Lindsay, Sarni, Poe, Emily, and everyone else who is done with law school - forever.
-For those who don't know, I have a job this summer working at a local law firm. This is very exciting, but this is all you will ever hear about it on this blog. Also, I have signed up to take enough summer school so that I can get my student-law licensce this Fall (which will allow me to participate in the Litigation Clinic). My summer is going to be busy.
-So, the Blogger Support Staff was finally able to get me in a position to fix my mobile blogging problems. I am so delighted. As you can see from post below, I am now able to send photos from my camera phone directly to the blog. Yea! This Saturday some friends and I went to the OSU Spring Game. Some photos (from Sean) will go up in the Gallery soon.
-In news from the new for 2007 rollercoaster front, Firehawk is almost complete and ready for the public. Check out the photo above, care of KIExtreme.com. Maverick at Cedar Point is also ready to go for Opening Day. These new rides will ensure some fun times on random weekends throughout the summer. MaxFair Pass - here I come.
-Uncle Sam gave me back all the money he was keeping tax-free. Now, I can buy a pony.
-The dog is just fine. He is getting big. He is also ready for summer. Recently he has taken to wrestling with the neighbor dogs in dirt, rolling in dirt which he has displaced from digging holes in the dirt, and eating top-soil dirt that I have replaced into his holes. Good times.
