Stop eating the contaminated squirrels. Now that's funny.

"We've known for a long time something was wrong here, we just didn't know what it was," resident Myrtle Van Dunk said.

How about EATING A SQUIRREL???

QOTD

Professor: (who is looking to call on someone) OK, so I forgot my seating chart and attendance roster.

Everyone smiles and kind of chuckles, except for one guy who busts out laughing

Professor: (to laughing student) Is that funny?

Student: (still laughing) That's hilarious.

Now everyone is laughing

Now that's rivalry
D | Friday, January 19, 2007
Congressman Jack Kingston knows what it is to hate the Gators. Wow. Rivalry is truly defined when it involves your negative vote in the Congress of the United States of America.

PS: Apparently, no Ohio Congressmen voted against... what the hell?

I also like all the state of Florida games:

My favorite quote of the article:
"We'll kick your ass…on LSATs!" = Northwestern at Duke, Sept. 15

Not really an update
D | Friday, January 12, 2007
So I haven't posted anything in a long time. Many have speculated as to the recent delay...
-Inability to get out of bed due to an embarrassing Ohio State loss in the national title game

-Crippling load of 2nd year 2nd semester law school work-load

-Pat finally buying controllers for Nintendo GameCube (see Tiger Woods Golf)

-Excessive cleaning do to constant dog pee inside

-D's New Year's Resolutions: get organized, blog less, exercise, stop smoking
Alas, all of these are incorrect. The cause of the recent blogging delay: sheer laziness.
I will soon get back on the blogging bandwagon, but not until after MLK. This weekend I will be celebrating Bernard's birthday with a trip to NYC and Atlantic City. We are playing poker and boozing. Wish us luck.

As an appetizer, let me share some blog post that are upcoming.
List of every movie I saw in 2006
National Championship Recap
New Years and Christmas Recap
Law School Update
Why having a dog is like having a child
Whose a bigger dork? Marching Band vs. Space Camp

And many many more!

PS: Don't forget this month's 15 on 15 - Video Games

A Boise State of Craziness
D | Tuesday, January 02, 2007
Holy Cow! Boise State has beaten Oklahoma in one of the best football games I have ever seen. This game is the text-book example of 1.why I love college football and 2.why college football is the single best sporting event in the United States (if not the world).

The game included:

Boise taking a commanding lead by 3rd quarter (BS 28 - OK 10)
Oklahoma battling back to tie (BS 28 - OK 28)

An Oklahoma pick/six with 1:02 left (BS 28 - OK 35)

A 4th and 18 pass and lateral which tied the game and sent it into overtime with 7 seconds remaining (BS 35 - OK 35)

An Adrian Peterson break out over-time run for TD (BS 35 - OK 42)
A half-back pass TD (BS 41 - OK 42)

A gutsy-as-hell go-for-2-and-win-the-game call with a trick
statue of liberty play which actually worked (BS 43 - OK 42)
The lead tailback proposing to his cheerleader girlfriend and her saying "Yes" (priceless)

Amazing. Simply. Amazing. That was awesome. Check out Brendan
going nuts.
