I am starting a little blogging phenomenon. I got this idea while writing a comment to Ruvym's post about the movie Spanglish.

I'm calling my new trend 15 on 15. On the 15th of every month, bloggers can post their "Top 15" for a particular category. This week I am doing movies, thus:

On December 15th anyone who wishes to participate will all post your own personal "Top 15 Movies of All Time." If you want to participate for any given week, just post a link to your list in the comments to my post, or in the comments to someone else's post, and eventually we will have a large chain of people posting their Top 15 whatever's every month. Next time, I will try to give you more notice about the upcoming week's topic.

What do you think? Is anyone going to participate?

PS: On a slightly related note, I've been waiting for this Special Edition to come out for years!

This is sheer genius and I'm proud the idea hit you when reading my post. I did have a question/suggestion - would it make more sense to cut it down to the 10 on 10 or the 20 on 20? I leave the decision up to you and I'll totally do the 25 if you wanna stick with that.

I like this, but 25? Thats way to many. Im with ruvym, accept I am going to one up him and suggest you go with 3 on 3. Plus, the next 25 is christmas and most people wont be updating their blogs on that day.

So the more I think about it, I totally agree - 25 way too many. I am trying to get people to participate and cerating a goal as high as 25 is unmanagable. I think I am going to redo this for 10.

10 on 10. What do we think?

I am still asking for Top Ten Movies for December, but now we have two weeks to make our selections.
