MT goes under the ax
D | Friday, October 21, 2005
Earlier this week I volunteered to help coach my highschool's mock trial teams. Unfortunately, I received word from my old coach that Lakota MT has been another of the many victims of the budget cuts. I was devastated. This will be the first year since the inception of MT in the state of Ohio (22 years) that Lakota will not be participating.
If I ever get elected to any government position in this country I promise right now that education will be my number one priority. Save this post and quote me 15 years from now.

(Warning - this comment has NOTHING to do with the entry it's attached to - I just stuck it on the most recent one. And I'm pretty confident you won't get too pissed 'cause I'm going to say nice things)
In a search for Darth Vader Jack o'Lanterns, I stumbled upon your site. Then, because I'm a huge dork who actually reads blogs written primarily for the blogger's amusement and that of his friends, I started reading. And you bash Bush. And you quote The West Wing. Not to mention your commentary on "mature relationships" and Ken Jenning's loss last year being hilarious.
Now I'm hooked. Damn internet. How am I supposed to get anything done?

Wow. Thank you. That was the nicest random comment I think I have ever received.
I'm always glad to meet a fellow democrat, WW watching, Star Wars loving, blogger. Welcome.
My question is where is your blog so that we can all read your daily adventures?

Alas, I am blog-less. Unfortunate for my friends, as I'm the type of person who needs to ramble on about my day to who ever will (pretend to) listen. I just can't seem to get the same satisfaction from boring people in type as I can verbally.
Your analysis of the Santos/McGarry (and I do agree that's the way it will pan out) win was brilliant - dorky and obsessive, perhaps - but that's what made it art.
