SCOTUS paybacks?
D | Wednesday, June 29, 2005
This is great. Some business group wants the local community to turn over Justice Souter's house for developement of a hotel (the "Lost Liberty Hotel") under the economic developement provisions of the recent emeninant domain ruling. Although I haven't published any blog opinions about the decission, I can always appreciate the humor in some ridiculously silly, but still interesting, political activism.

I am appreciative of the dining hall called the "Just Desserts Cafe". Brilliant.

See some activitist have a sense of humor too. Wonderful.

I wonder if there is an argument to be made suggesting that if the actual Supreme Court building was replaced with a Wal-Mart the economic forecast for DC would improve?
