KY Gas
D | Tuesday, June 21, 2005
For some reason, gas is ridiculously cheaper in KY. I bought gas yesterday in Kentucky for $1.94. That same day on my way home from work, at the station near my house gas was $2.25. That's not the regular change of 3 or 4 cents - that 31 cents. 31 cents a gallon at 12 or 13 gallons turns into real money. Now I typically don't complain about gas prices, even driving a V6 sports car, but a price change of 31 cents in the course of 10 miles! Ridiculous. I'm driving to Kentucky every week to top off my tank.

Do you think maybe it's because Kentucky's state agencies aren't short about $225 million?

I'm surprised you haven't investigated more into the matter. I expected links to Kentucky's finance page and the works.
